Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist

Our client is looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimizer (CRO) to join their Web Communications team. This individual will be responsible for testing, data analysis, and optimizing site experiences. The CRO will work closely with design and web leads to ensure all test ideas are sound and implementations are error free. This person will be conversion-rate focused with amazing communications skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities. They are expected to follow web publishing protocols and adhere to all web best-practices.
The CRO is responsible for testing ideas that can enhance user experience, improve conversion rates, and drive engagement across our website. We are looking for a web manager who understands how channels work and is interested in driving better results through executing A/B tests, documenting learnings, and applying winning ideas to our website. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding user behavior, identifying website patterns, and testing a variety of hypotheses that can uncover improvement opportunities. In this role, the CRO will have the opportunity to be creative and the freedom to test, iterate, and innovate.

Responsibilities:
Develop hypotheses.
Launch multiple A/B tests and experiments to improve site performance.
Use analytics tools to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report findings.
Improve user experience to enhance conversion rates.
Translate insights into clear project requirements for UX and Web teams.
Create and optimize landing pages ideas to increase conversions.
Collaborate with web, design, demand-gen, product, and other marketing stakeholders.
Perform funnel analysis by understanding the steps users take from initial contact to conversion and take decisive action on next steps to shorten the process.
Ultimately taking winning ideas to market and integrating them into the website
Ensure digital and SEO best practices for the web are considered for every test created.
This individual will also be asked to perform basic web production duties, including web optimizations that may be outside of the testing environment.
Provide above-board output that is error-free.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years in digital marketing, UX design, conversion rate optimization or data analysis.
3+ years of WordPress experience, or similar CMS
In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics 4
Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies that improve operational productivity and customer experience
Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

This is a Contract position based out of Round Rock, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
