ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is currently seeking a Software Engineer lll - for a 6+ month contract position with our client located in Seattle, WA . This role is open to hybrid and would require 3 days a week onsite. Summary: The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. A typical software engineer researches, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
- 2+ years experience building mobile applications, either android or iOS.
- Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
- Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users.
- Strong Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques and test automation techniques in Android or iOS.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask employees will be considered for this position.

- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.
Pay range: Up to $107.14 per hour
