Who You Are We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our IoT Connected Backend Services team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend services that power IoT applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers/Software Developers and contribute to projects that have a real impact on our products and services.
What You'll Do - Assist in the design, development, optimization and deployment of backend services for IoT applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud-based platforms.
- Participate in the development of APIs and microservices to support IoT data processing and analytics.
- Help in optimizing and scaling backend systems to handle large volumes of IoT data.
- Conduct testing and debugging of backend services to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document technical specifications and processes for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and backend development.
Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Very good understanding of programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, C or Node.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with IoT device firmware development is an advantage
- Mobile Development experience is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
