Job Description:

The role involves performing and scaling business systems analysis activities across work efforts of various sizes.
The position supports SDLC processes, prepares thorough user stories, provides business analysis recommendations, collaborates with technical and QA teams, and ensures requirements are clearly defined, documented, and validated.
The analyst will support integration requirements, system design discussions, and assist in user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities:

Perform and scale business analysis tasks for work efforts ranging from small enhancements to large projects.
Ensure SDLC processes are followed.
Produce thorough user stories with detailed acceptance criteria to support product owners, subject matter experts, development teams, and QA teams.
Gain full understanding of business vision for projects, enhancements, and defect remediation.
Make recommendations to the business on best practices.
Provide business analysis support for project requests, including evaluating build-versus-buy options and conducting cost-benefit analysis.
Use elicitation techniques such as interviews, surveys, shadowing, and facilitated sessions to understand business needs and document them effectively.
Formulate and document well-structured user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
Understand the impact of changes on the overall system and make recommendations for logical system enhancements.
Provide design support for technical teams during planning and design sessions.
Work with Development Leads and System Engineers to communicate business requirements and elicit additional technical requirements.
Gather integration requirements, identify data sources, and create source-to-target mappings.
Adapt integration processes to reflect changes in source systems and new business requirements.
Partner with technical and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented and tested according to acceptance criteria.
Assist product owners with planning and executing user acceptance testing.

Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Knowledge of web application concepts.
Knowledge of client-server application concepts.
Strong meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Experience with HR systems and eCommerce implementations.
