Job Title: CMDB Analyst ServiceNow
Location: Remote

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CMDB Analyst with strong ServiceNow experience to manage and maintain our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, implement CI (Configuration Item) lifecycle processes, and support ServiceNow CMDB-related projects and integrations across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and enhance the CMDB within ServiceNow to ensure accuracy and completeness of configuration items (CIs).
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and maintain CMDB governance and data model standards.
- Perform data analysis, audits, and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Support ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration activities for automated CI population.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to CMDB health and usage.
- Participate in Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes to provide accurate CI data.
- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for effective CMDB maintenance.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators, developers, and ITSM process owners on CMDB-related enhancements and roadmap.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience managing CMDBs, with 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow CMDB experience.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM/ITOM processes, especially Configuration Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server configurations.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, applications, cloud resources, etc.
- Ability to analyze data trends, create reports, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or CMDB-related certifications.
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification.
- Experience in a large enterprise environment or consulting background.
- Experience with integrations and automation tools related to CMDB (e.g., SCCM, Qualys, AWS, Azure, etc.).
