Director of Enterprise Technology (hands-on)
A small organization (under 50 employees) is seeking a Director of Enterprise Technology to drive the transition to scalable, cloud-based software platforms!
This role combines strategic vision, technical depth, and hands-on leadership in designing, implementing, and optimizing SaaS ecosystems across the organization. The ideal candidate is both a strategic architect and an execution-driven leader capable of guiding end-to-end SaaS transformation initiatives, managing vendor relationships, integrating AI-ready technologies, and ensuring timely implementations, cost management and performance. This role requires hands-on approach to digging into issues and solving problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a SaaS roadmap aligned with business goal
- Evaluate current tech stack, identify opportunities for modernization, and select SaaS platforms that enhance scalability, security, and customer experience
- Define cloud and data integration architectures that ensure interoperability across systems that are currently in place for optimizing workflows
- Lead SaaS implementation projects vendor selection, contract negotiation, system design, migration, and go-live execution
- Oversee solution architecture, configuration, and integration for enterprise platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Fluxx, Tableau, etc.)
- Drive Agile delivery frameworks to accelerate deployment and minimize risk
- Support with AI tools for enterprise productivity (e.g. ChatGPT, ToItIQ, Granola)
- Identify and implement HA of corporate equipment such as printers, conference room A/V technologies, telephony and network management (e..g Vonage)
- Mobile device support and management (e.g. corporate iPhones)
- Integrate room reservation systems with corporate calendars (e.g. Skedda)
- Procure and manage end user computing devices (e.g. Laptops, tablets)
- Provide O365 Suite management and support
- Provide hardware and help desk support and secure computing equipment
- Ensure network security and WiFi connectivity management
- Manage security surveillance equipment (e.g. Verkada) and email security with phishing simulations, archival, data leak protection and perimeter security
- Manage vendor relationships, performance SLAs, and cost optimization across multi-cloud environments
- Evaluate and pilot emerging tech (AI, automation, integration platforms, analytics)
- Collaborate with business units to translate strategic objectives into measurable KPIs
- Train and on-board employees on enterprise tools/technologies
REQUIRED
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology leadership
- 5+years leading SaaS transformation initiatives
- Experience in the architecture and deployment of enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday)
- Deep understanding of SaaS architectures, API integrations, and data pipelines
- Strong grasp of security, compliance, and lifecycle management frameworks
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and manage implementation budgets
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, vendor negotiation, and change-management skills
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
PREFERRED
- Experience integrating AI-driven or agentic technologies into SaaS ecosystems
- Background in B2B or multi-tenant SaaS product implementations for organizations (e.g. Incubators, Non-profit, Family office)
