Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support enterprise-level database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support for Oracle databases in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle RAC and standalone database environments
Perform database performance tuning and optimization (SQL tuning, indexing, resource monitoring)
Configure and manage database backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies (RMAN)
Implement data security, user access, and auditing controls
Monitor and troubleshoot production environments (24x7 support experience preferred)
Support database migration, replication, and refresh activities
Manage PL/SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and application teams
Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks
Required Skills
7+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
Strong experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c
Experience with RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN
Strong exposure to PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Linux/Unix environments
Experience supporting high-availability and large-scale databases
Knowledge of performance tuning and capacity planning
Familiar with Oracle cloud technologies (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle is a plus
Preferred / Nice to Have
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or related certifications
Experience with GoldenGate
Experience in DevOps / Automation (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
Experience supporting financial, telecom, or enterprise-grade applications
