Job Description:

MicroStrategy MUST HAVE:

Analyze MicroStrategy reports (Grid, Documents, Dossiers) including attributes, metrics, filters, prompts, and VLDB settings.

Understand and interpret MSTR metric definitions, level metrics, conditional metrics, and transformations.

Review and validate generated SQL / Freeform SQL used in MSTR reports.

Identify data grain, joins, and aggregation logic in MSTR to avoid semantic mismatches.

Troubleshoot data discrepancies by comparing MSTR outputs with PBI reports.

Work closely with DBAs and SMEs to resolve schema, object, and access-related issues impacting report logic.

Power BI Knowledge:

Design and build Power BI semantic models that correctly replicate MSTR report logic.

Develop DAX measures equivalent to MSTR metrics, handling filter and row context correctly.

Build Power BI reports / Paginated reports based on report complexity and column volume.

Perform MSTR vs Power BI data validation and support UAT sign-off.

Mandatory Skills:

5+ years hands-on MicroStrategy development experience.
