nCino/Salesforce Business Analyst - Remote

Long-term contract: $40-$45 per hour
SUMMARY: The Business Analyst (Salesforce/nCino) plays a key role in partnering with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, translate requirements into functional specifications, and support the design and optimization of Salesforce and nCino solutions. This role ensures systems align with business processes, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals-particularly in the Zions commercial banking environment.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering and Analysis - Collaborate with business units to understand workflows, challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Lead discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, and process mapping exercises.
- Document functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements leveraging Salesforce and nCino capabilities.
Salesforce & nCino Solution Support - Translate requirements into well - defined solution designs using Salesforce and nCino best practices.
- Partner with Salesforce administrators, developers, and nCino configuration teams to build and refine system functionality.
- Configure Salesforce and nCino components when appropriate (page layouts, fields, validation rules, workflow rules, etc.).
- Support integration efforts across core banking systems and third - party applications.
Testing & Quality Assurance - Develop test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios for enhancements and new features.
- Participate in UAT facilitation, defect tracking, and validation for Salesforce and nCino releases.
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements and comply with regulatory or audit expectations.
Project & Stakeholder Management - Act as a liaison between technology, operations, product teams, and external vendors.
- Provide project updates, status tracking, and risk identification to project managers or leadership.
- Support change management activities, training sessions, and rollout communications.
Data, Reporting & Compliance - Assist with data quality initiatives, including cleansing, migration, mapping, and validation.
- Support reporting needs using Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Ensure solutions align with compliance, security, risk, and governance standards.
Required Qualifications - 5-7+ years of business analysis experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce CRM (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud).
- Strong working knowledge of nCino-especially modules such as Commercial Loan Origination or Portfolio Management.
- Ability to create user stories, process flows, and functional requirements using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem - solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder).
- nCino certifications or implementation experience with a certified partner.
- Background in banking processes (credit underwriting, loan origination, onboarding, KYC, operations).
- Experience with data tools (SOQL, Salesforce Data Loader, SQL, ETL platforms).
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and middleware platforms.

- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across technical and non - technical teams.
