Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to join our team in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to key projects involving advanced design and engineering systems. The role requires a strong background in drafting and engineering, with expertise in Windchill and related software tools.
Responsibilities:
Design and draft detailed engineering components using advanced CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Creo.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure accurate bill of materials (BOMs).
Analyze and clean up existing design files, preparing them for integration into new systems.
Conduct detective work to locate missing components in legacy systems and ensure they are properly documented.
Implement and refine designs within the company's evolving digital platforms, ensuring seamless communication between components.
Provide feedback and work closely with team members to validate design accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
Assist in the migration of legacy design and production models into new systems.
Ensure all design components meet architectural and manufacturing standards.
Contribute to the development and optimization of service management and employee digital platforms.
Support the company's digital transformation goals by aligning design processes with new software systems.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in drafting, engineering design, or related technical roles.
Proficiency in Windchill, AutoCAD, and PTC Creo software.
Strong understanding of bill of materials (BOMs) and drafting principles.
Experience working with legacy and modern design systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and locate missing design components within fragmented systems.
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD), manufacturing (CAM), and engineering (CAE) tools.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of architectural standards and engineering frameworks.
