Lead the engineering organization that powers Huntington's Transactional Data Service (TDS)-the enterprise platform that unifies transaction data for secure, scalable API consumption across Commercial/Treasury. Own strategy-to-execution for roadmaps, staffing, delivery, and financial transparency; build a high-performing team on Google Cloud Platform; and drive reliability, data quality, and observability. Partner with Product, Enterprise Payments, and strategic vendors to take TDS to GA, accelerate client onboarding, and expand coverage across payment rails and reporting. Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, and a developer experience that shortens time-to-market while meeting compliance and controls. - Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product and Enterprise Payments to define and execute TDS technology strategy and roadmap.
- Own end-to-end delivery of TDS initiatives, including architecture, resource planning, and vendor coordination.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team; establish standards for CI/CD, testing, observability, and reusable patterns.
- Ensure financial transparency across TDS initiatives and base operations; track outcomes via adoption and quality metrics.
- Expand platform coverage across payment rails and reporting domains; accelerate client onboarding and GA milestones.
- Champion reliability, data quality, and operational excellence through robust monitoring and reconciliation practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in building cloud-native platforms AWS, Azure (preferably Google Cloud Platform) and leading API-driven architectures
- Strong background in financial services or payment systems (preferred)
"What success looks like" (first 12 months)
- Stand up and lead the engineering team delivering TDS data pipelines and APIs on Google Cloud Platform; drive the roadmap to GA and early client onboarding.
- Expand platform coverage across priority payment rails and unify transaction reporting for commercial clients/partners.
- Raise reliability and observability baselines (logging, reconciliation, status accuracy); retire critical defects in production pipelines.
- Establish engineering standards (CI/CD, testing, SLOs), reusable patterns, and a developer experience that shortens time-to-market.
- Deliver with financial transparency; track outcomes via operational, adoption, and quality metrics aligned to TDS objectives.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Payments, CAM, and vendor partners to align scope, sequencing, and funding.

Compensation Range:93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
