Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Amazon DynamoDB to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with data analysts, application teams, and architects to enable high-performance, reliable, and cost-efficient data platforms on AWS.

• Over 12+ years of experience
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on AWS
• Build and optimize NoSQL data models using Amazon DynamoDB for high-throughput and low-latency use cases
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and EMR
• Manage data ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, streaming, databases, files)
• Implement data storage solutions using DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, and other AWS services
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Optimize DynamoDB performance using partition keys, GSIs, LSIs, and capacity planning
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code
• Ensure security and compliance using IAM, encryption, and AWS best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services
• Expertise in Amazon DynamoDB (data modeling, performance tuning, indexing)
• Strong knowledge of Python (or Java) for data processing and automation
• Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, EMR
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline architecture
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Understanding of data security, governance, and best practices on AWS
