Manage MariaDB server logs.
Describe MariaDB server internals.
Evaluate data types and character sets.
Understand MariaDB schema objects, including views, triggers and table partitioning.
Compare and gain an understanding of the various storage engines in MariaDB.
Understand transactions and data locking in MariaDB.
Manage users, roles and security, including data at rest encryption and password strength checking.
Perform backup and restore operations using a variety of backup methods, such as MariaDB Backup.
Understand how MariaDB uses resources such as disk and memory.
Understand performance tuning techniques.
Describe the fundamentals of high availability.
Configure and monitor MariaDB replication.
Understand the MariaDB MaxScale database proxy.
Describe advanced features in MariaDB, such as PLSQL support, window functions, common table expressions CTEs and temporal tables.
Experienced Database Administrator for MariaDB. Experience should include but is not limited to installation, upgrade, patching, backup and recovery, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting development life cycle.
MariaDB support for production and development on Linux environments.
Designs and Configure Logical and Physical Database Design and Construction.
Experience in replication & monitoring batch performance.
Extensive knowledge on database backup/recovery, Import/Export Data, Capacity Planning, Replication (Streams) standby databases, refresh, and patch management.
Monitoring file systems and database growth and daily health checks.
Mentoring the Database Performance using automated scripts.
Answerable for setting and managing User Accounts, Granting required privileges to users.
Perform database migrations to MariaDB/MySQL.
Incident Management and root cause analysis.
Performing full and incremental backups, upgrades as required.
Handson experience with RHEL and Linux commands.
