Network / System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Design and Operational Requirements in moving applications to a Container Platform, notably Openshift
• Interface with Development, Architecture, and Container Platform Teams to analyze requirements and support Container onboarding for mission critical applications

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Information Systems Related) 5 years of field experience, or Master's Degree equivalent 3 years field experience
• Redhat Openshift experience
• Experience with the Linux Operating System (configurations and parameters)
• Cloud Architecture with integration of Microservice Development
• Container Image development/configuration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with spreadsheet design toolsets (Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Confluence)
• Technical aptitude
• Comfortable participating in/driving technical project discussions
• Requirements analysis; triage/troubleshooting skillset

Pay Range: $63.94-$71.94
