Pay Rate: $63.00-$64.00/hr
Summary:
The UX Researcher will serve as a key advocate for users by partnering closely with product, design, and development teams to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviors. This role will lead end-to-end research initiatives, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive meaningful, human-centered experiences. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously, thrives in ambiguity, and is passionate about elevating user experiences through rigorous research.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with product, design, and development teams to raise awareness of user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Understand stakeholder research needs and identify appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Fully execute research projects from initial kickoff through fielding/interviewing to sharing findings as the primary researcher.
- Develop UX research artifacts including research proposals, moderator guides, and results summaries.
- Synthesize and communicate research findings clearly, efficiently, and elegantly to diverse stakeholders.
- Identify unmet research opportunities that add value and independently execute them.
- Recruit and maintain lists of targeted research participants from internal and external sources.
- Serve as a trusted source of user knowledge and insights across the organization.
- Challenge the status quo when addressing user needs and advocate for user-centered solutions.
- 2 years of experience conducting formal UX or user research.
- Master's Degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), psychology, human factors, social sciences, or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including contextual inquiry, usability testing, competitive benchmarking, interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
- Hands-on experience with UX research tools such as OptimalSort, UserZoom, UserTesting.com, or similar platforms.
- Experience using survey tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or equivalent.
- Strong passion for understanding and designing amazing experiences for human beings.
- Enthusiasm for ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
