Managing deployments, infrastructure, automation, and release pipelines.
Own and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Package, deploy, and promote builds across environments (Dev QA--> UAT Prod).
Manage deployment tools like Gearsets, metadata scripts, and automated jobs.
Handle environment setup, sandbox refreshes, and configuration management.
Monitor releases, troubleshoot deployment failures, and resolve conflicts.
Maintain branching strategies and version control practices.
Ensure security, access controls, and deployment keys are properly managed.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and release managers to ensure smooth delivery.
Release Manager/ DevOps Lead Core Responsibilities
Plan and manage the release calendar across all teams and environments.
Coordinate with developers, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders, TPMs to ensure readiness for each release.
Facilitate release meetings, including kickoff, readiness checks, and post-release reviews.
Track progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams.
Validate that all approvals, testing, sign-offs, and documentation are completed before deployment.
Maintain and update the release process, standards, policies, and best practices.
Communicate release scope, timelines, and post-release updates to all stakeholders.
Log, track, and resolve release issues in collaboration with DevOps/engineering.
Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and change-management requirements.
Serve as the single point of contact for release scheduling and status updates for multiple org.
