Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, secure, and high availability applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, Angular/Blazor, and Azure/AWS
Oversee and mentor cross functional engineering teams, promoting best practices, code quality, and modern engineering standards
Drive modernization initiatives, including legacy system redesign, microservices adoption, and cloud migration
Architect and implement RESTful APIs, event driven systems, microservices, and distributed architectures
Establish and maintain DevOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality tools
Collaborate with product owners, project managers, and stakeholders to define requirements, estimates, and technical roadmaps
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, testing, and optimization
Lead disaster recovery planning, cloud infrastructure design, and application lifecycle management
Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions
Provide hands on development support while guiding long term architectural direction
Required Qualifications
10 20+ years of experience in full stack .NET development
Deep expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, Blazor, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server
Strong experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Storage, SQL Database, Functions, Event Grid, etc.)
Proven experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and event driven architectures
Hands on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Git, automated testing, and code quality tools
Strong understanding of DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS, SOA
Experience leading engineering teams or managing developers
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH
Preferred Qualifications
Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud native architectures
Background in enterprise environments such as insurance, government, SaaS, or regulated industries
Experience with SSIS, SSRS, Redis, RabbitMQ, Playwright, SonarQube
MBA or advanced degree in Information Systems or related field.
