We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect to lead large-scale enterprise application migration and modernization initiatives from legacy/on-prem platforms to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for a major retail organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernization strategies on Google Cloud Platform

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures

• Drive API-first and microservices-based solutions using Apigee, GKE, and Cloud Run

• Collaborate with development teams on Java and C# application modernization

• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using GitHub

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across cross-functional teams

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, performance, and governance standards

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience

• 6+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform migration and modernization experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and C#

• Experience with Apigee API Management

• Proficiency with Cloud Run, GKE, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub

• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (required)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
