Description: Will serve as senior .NET Developer to work on large-scale development efforts along with the Systems Architect to develop web-based systems on Microsoft platform for Kentucky Environmental Health Data System (KEHDS) internal application as well as public facing applications. The project will be developed using some of the latest tools and technologies including Visual Studio 2022/2019, MVC, Blazor, J-Query, Bootstrap, .NET Framework 4.0 and above, .Net 6 and above, Entity Framework 4.0, EF Core and SQL 2012 and above. The resource must be highly motivated, result-oriented, and qualified in development of large web-based solutions using .NET technology. The resource is required to have strong communication and documentation skills, must be proficient in Object-Oriented design and very strong in .Net development of n-tier applications using C# .NET, VB.NET, ASP .NET, MVC, J-Query, Bootstrap and SQL 2016 and above. Microsoft certification preferable.
- Experience in Software Analysis, Design, Development, testing practices of Client Server, N-tier applications using C#.NET and VB.NET.
- Experience developing web based and windows-based applications using ASP.NET, C#. NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and methodologies.
- Experience in SQL Server with technologies such as Stored Procedures, Views and Triggers.
- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Designing (OOA and OOD), Object Oriented programming (OOPS) including in depth knowledge of .Net Framework.
- Experience with Web-forms, Win-forms, Web Services, Windows Services, WEB API, MVC, Bootstrap, JQuery, LINQ, Crystal Reports, Power BI and SSRS
- Experience working with WPF windows desktop applications and Rich client applications using XAML
- Experience working with Online / Offline SQLServer CE and Single fine deployment database
- Experience working with Touch one deployment
- Experience using CheckMarx static code analysis software
- Experience developing applications leveraging ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework 4, EF Core.
- Experience in designing GUI and using Blazor, AJAX and JavaScript to enhance the look and feel of UI.
- Eager to learn, adapt and implement innovative technologies.

Required Skills:
Candidate must have:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing large-scale web-based applications using Microsoft Technologies, including data modelling, object modelling.
- .Net 4.5 and above, .Net 6 and above, SQL Server 2012 and above, MVC 4 or later, Blazor, C# Service Oriented Architecture
- JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, jQuery, CSS
- Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Web API
- Experience in working with cross sector teams including development, infrastructure and network operations teams
- Experience in reviewing and producing technical documentation
- Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Claims based Authentication, ws-fed and OIDC Protocol
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates having experience in one or more of the skill sets detailed below are preferred:
- SQL 2022
- Microsoft dynamics
- Generating reports using SQL Server reporting services, Power BI and Business Object
- Workflow tools
- SharePoint integration
Prior experience with the Commonwealth of Kentucky or other state government agencies.
