Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, optimize, and support large-scale enterprise database applications. The developer will work on complex PL/SQL components, performance tuning, database integrations, and high-volume transactional systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, and advanced SQL queries.
Develop and support Oracle GoldenGate replication processes (installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization).
Perform deep performance tuning using indexing strategies, execution plans, profiling tools (AWR/ASH), and optimization techniques.
Lead database development initiatives, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Work closely with application architects, DBAs, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Develop and support large-scale ETL/data processing pipelines and data migration processes.
Analyze production issues, debug performance bottlenecks, and apply schema improvements.
Support database design, normalization, optimization, and architecture enhancements.
Create comprehensive technical documentation and ensure adherence to development best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

10–12+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
Strong expertise in PL/SQL coding advanced SQL, triggers, functions, packages, views.
Extensive experience with performance tuning (AWR reports, indexing, query optimization).
Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate 12c/19c (preferably microservices architecture).
Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, data modeling, and database architecture.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications and high-volume data systems.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting for automation and integration tasks.
Strong debugging, optimization, and production support experience.
Hands-on experience with ETL/data integration solutions.
Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports.
Unix/Linux shell scripting experience.
Experience with cloud databases (Oracle Autonomous DB, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
Exposure to ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, SSIS, Talend).
