About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Azure Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate is a passionate technologist with a deep understanding of the .NET ecosystem, modern cloud architecture, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. You will mentor junior developers, influence technical direction, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, debug, and document high-quality, maintainable, and performant software solutions using .NET Core/.NET 5+, C#, and related technologies within an Azure environment.
Architect, develop, and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and APIs on Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Container Instances, Kubernetes/AKS).
Implement solutions leveraging core Azure services including Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Storage, Key Vault, App Configuration, and Azure API Management.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (or similar tools like GitHub Actions) to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes. Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security by implementing best practices for cloud security, identity management (Azure AD, Microsoft Identity Platform), and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior developers. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and architectural principles.
Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. Drive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
Stay current with emerging technologies, evaluate new Azure services and .NET features, and recommend improvements to our technology stack and development processes.

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on the .NET stack (C#, Core) and hands-on experience designing and building applications on Microsoft Azure.
Expert in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, and modern software design patterns (e.g., Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture).
Deep, practical experience with Azure PaaS services: App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
Proficient with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Azure Kubernetes Service - AKS is a plus).
Solid experience with Git, Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines), and modern CI/CD practices.
Experience with database design and development (SQL and/or NoSQL like Cosmos DB).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) highly desirable.
Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Blazor), messaging patterns, and distributed caching (Redis).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Familiarity with modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core/6+ and Azure.
