Senior WebFOCUS / TheFOCUS Consultant

 Location: New Jersey (Onsite / Hybrid   as per client requirement)
 Duration: Long-term Contract
 Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze reporting requirements and write detailed report specifications

• Convert legacy mainframe FOCUS reports to WebFOCUS 8.2

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and enhance Criminal & Recovery Court reports

• Evaluate and document logic/specifications of existing reports

• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and technical teams on data mapping and source validation

• Identify and document report defects and recommend improvements

• Coordinate with Team Leads and cross-functional teams within the Administrative Office of the Courts

• Ensure high-quality reporting solutions aligned with project standards

 Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on WebFOCUS experience (current version 8.2 mandatory)

• Strong experience with:

  • App Studio, InfoAssist+, Dashboards, MRE, Report Caster

  • Mainframe FOCUS, JCL, JCL Procedures, ISPF

  • Dynamic parameter-driven reporting & GUI-based reporting

  • User Interface Design, HTML, Responsive UI

  • JavaScript / CSS

  • Business & System Analysis

• Experience with DB2, SQL, and stored procedures (highly preferred)

• Strong background in report development and data mapping

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and in team environments

 Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical education

• Strong knowledge of mainframe processes and reporting standards

• Experience in teaching or explaining technical concepts is a plus
