MicroStrategy This is a core BI tool the team uses. They need someone at an intermediate to advanced level, not a beginner.
PL/SQL Candidate must have strong PL/SQL querying and development skills at an intermediate to advanced level.
Data Analysis Must have solid data analysis capabilities. MicroStrategy + PL/SQL + data analysis are the core requirements.

Industry Experience

• Healthcare industry experience required. The candidate should be able to learn the business.
• It is challenging to find people with direct industry knowledge, so this is flexible.

Experience Level

• Minimum 2+ years of overall job market experience.
• Ideally 3+ years of experience in government contracting. Not mandatory

Job description:

1. Work with analysts, ETL developers, and business owners to create reporting solutions
2. Conduct requirements analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of business reporting.
3. Participate in maintenance of reporting database, determining the cause of defects and solutions for repair.
4. Code, test, debug, implement, and document basic programs.
5. Assist in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.
6. Assist in the research and analysis of existing systems and program requirements; assist in preparing documentation to change existing programs. Perform data analysis to support internal and external project needs.
7. Design basic programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
8. Write specifications for programs regardless of complexity.
9. Assist in resolving routine production support problems.
10. Assist in the completion of unit testing by preparing test data, running tests and evaluating results.
11. Develop screen tests and debugging problems.
12. Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
13. Create basic documentation in work assignments such as program code.
14. Conduct routine quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
15. Remain abreast of and research industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
16. Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education Required:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or more than one year of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Skills / Knowledge Required:

• Oracle PL SQL, SQL, or other querying languages
• 3+ year working in a government contractor role
• Minimum of 3+ years of MicroStrategy development experience.
  Knowledge of design patterns and practices for reports and dashboards.
  Knowledge of RDBMSs preferably Oracle and SQL Server, and data discovery.

Experience Required:

• Three or more years in a Business Analysis or Technical position.
• Experience working directly with other teams to understand their needs and determine potential solutions.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data. Experience with programs, including MS Word, and Excel.
• Experience creating, editing, and maintaining document templates.
• Intermediate knowledge of PL SQL and other querying languages; MicroStrategy, data warehousing
