Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow IRM/GRC Lead Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform for a leading financial institution. This role involves delivering ServiceNow solutions in a client consulting environment, serving as a technical lead, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Delivery Oversight
Serve as the delivery lead for ServiceNow IRM programs.
Lead project implementations and maintain thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to the ServiceNow platform, product capabilities, and complementary technologies.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Security to gather requirements and design scalable IRM solutions.
Manage client relationships, coordinate with delivery leads, and lead cadence meetings and status reporting. Solution Architecture & Implementation
Architect and configure IRM modules including Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management and Issue Management
Map business processes to ServiceNow out-of-box capabilities and validate requirements.
Customize form layouts, dashboards, reports, workflows, and notifications.
Configure access controls using OOB roles and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
Utilize ServiceNow Next UI design, including list/form/navigation updates, workflows, instance management, and table/field creation. Development & Technical Leadership
Configure and customize IRM applications including risk, compliance, audit, and policy management.
Deliver UI and workflow configurations, Performance Analytics, and portal experiences.
Ensure code quality, testing, and adherence to best practices.
Interface with ServiceNow product teams and contribute to internal technical standards and reusable assets.
Assisting Engagement Lead in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/features using ServiceNow Agile or client-preferred Agile software.
Direct customers on best practices across ServiceNow products and platforms.
Develop Offerings, Solutions, and Designs for product implementations.
Testing & Deployment
Lead UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
Finalize update sets and support production go-live with post-deployment hyper care.
Training & Transition
Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for SMEs.
Provide training materials and support transition to client support teams.
Project Management & Governance
Support management of Statements of Work (SoWs), Change Orders, and milestone tracking.
Lead workshops to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical design documentation. Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience, with at least 3 years focused on IRM/GRC modules.
Proven experience leading technical delivery in client-facing consulting environments.
Strong understanding of risk frameworks and compliance processes.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting, configuration, and integration (SOAP, REST, XML).
Demonstrated expertise in, Access Controls (ACLs), Business Rules, UI Policies, Glide Scripting, Jelly Scripts, JavaScript, Ajax Queries and Service Portal development (Widgets, Server/Client Scripting, HTML, CSS, SQL)
Strong interest in cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
