Microsoft Power Portal Developer

Job Title: Portal Lead

Location: Remote/WFH

Duration: 5 months+ contract

• Must be located in the United States and pass a required client background check which includes fingerprinting

Must have skill requirements of the role: Microsoft Power Portal Developer, JavaScript, KnockoutJS, etc.

Description:

• Take a leading role in designing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft Power Portal/Power Pages solutions to meet business and user requirements.
• Develop custom front-end components and client-side logic using JavaScript and Knockout JS, ensuring responsive, accessible, and secure user experiences.
• Integrate portals with Dataverse and other back-end systems/APIs, including data modeling, security configuration, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, business SMEs, and engineering teams to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver iterative enhancements through Agile sprints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve portal issues, implement best practices, and contribute to reusable patterns, components, and documentation for ongoing support.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Power Portal / Power Pages or Power Platform developer, including hands-on portal configuration and customization.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Knockout JS (or similar MVVM/MVC frameworks) building production web applications.
• Understanding of Dataverse or comparable relational data platforms, including security models, entity relationships, and integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA, and architecture).
