Summary

Job Title: AirWatch Engineer

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Duration: 12+ Months

Sample Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the existing AirWatch MDM platform, including device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, and compliance monitoring for iPhones, iPads and Android devices.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobile device issues across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
Maintain Telecommunication, Telecommunication and other Vendor Support Portals for cellular devices
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure mobile device policies align with organizational standards.
Monitor system performance, generate reports, and implement required improvements to enhance user experience and security posture.
Work on the assessment, planning, and phased migration from AirWatch to Microsoft Intune, including stakeholder engagement, pilot testing, and documentation.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Keep the Met Council leadership updated and current with industry trends and best practices in endpoint management and mobile security.
Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge transfer

Minimum Qualifications

3 years of hands-on experience with VMware Workspace ONE / AirWatch administration.
2 years of combined experience using Air Watch MDM software, mobile OS platforms, and enterprise mobility architecture
2 years of experience with cellular activations on Vendor portals such as Telecommunication, Telecommunication and Telecommunication.
1 year of combined experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Desired Skills

Experience with Intune deployment or migration projects.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, SC-300, or AZ-104).
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and conditional access policies.
Experience integrating MDM with identity and access management solutions.
Experience with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
