Role: Business Systems Analyst II

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analysts to support two core applications: a Sales/Origination application and a Teller application. These roles are similar in responsibilities but split by application focus: Origination/Sales (Opening & Servicing Accounts) supports account creation, customer record management, and business process maintenance. Teller (Transaction Processing) supports monetary transactions, balancing, and teller operations.
Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and line-of-business partners.
Translate requirements into user stories and actionable deliverables.
Collaborate with product owners in refinement sessions and agile ceremonies.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), validating functionality before deployment.
Support in-house or vendor development teams depending on application:
o Sales/Origination: primarily in-house development.
o Teller: primarily Argo-supplied development with some in-house contribution.
Assist in creating forms, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate functionality of applications.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify business needs and translate into technical solutions.
Required Skills:
2 3 years of experience in:
Business requirements documentation
User acceptance testing (UAT)
Banking operations or related domain knowledge
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders and business partners.
Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, and agile methodology/software lifecycle.
Ability to write business requirements, convert to user stories, and conduct UAT.
Understanding of banking processes, including transaction balancing, debits, and credits (critical for Teller role).
Bonus Skills
Experience with Argo Teller (teller application) or Sales/Origination applications.
Prior exposure to vendor-supplied or in-house developed banking applications.
