Summary
We are seeking an FPGA/Hardware Engineer to help design and optimize advanced media transport and processing systems for high-performance video, audio, and data applications. This role involves hands-on design, testing, and support of production-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA-based solutions for video/audio transport and real-time processing (SMPTE ST 2110/IP, SDI).
- Implement and optimize RTL designs, with a focus on 4K performance, data compression, and parallel processing.
- Support hardware testing, debugging, and validation in lab environments.
- Contribute to new product introduction (NPI) through design, documentation, and test activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, component selection, and technical documentation.
- 2+ years of FPGA or hardware design experience (video/audio focus preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Intel and/or Xilinx FPGA platforms and design tools.
- Proficiency with SystemVerilog (preferred), VHDL, or HLS; scripting in TCL/SDC.
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, DDR), transceivers, and timing analysis.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Exposure to Linux-based development and programming in C/C++ or Python.
- Knowledge of digital video/audio standards (SDI, AES, NMOS) and broadcast workflows.
- Experience with packet processing, routing protocols, or PTP synchronization.
