Sr Business Analyst - (Kronos/UKG - TimeKeeping - T&A) ImplementationSummary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a transformational initiative to implement UKG (Kronos) as our new Time & Attendance platform. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, HR/Payroll, IT, Operations, and our implementation partner to ensure successful delivery of a scalable, compliant, and user-friendly solution.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across the software implementation lifecycle, including gathering and translating requirements into test cases, leading UAT, managing testing progress and defect tracking, supporting configuration decisions, and ensuring alignment between business processes and technology throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for the project, including test strategy, scope definition, planning, execution, and sign-off

Review and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements to ensure they are testable, complete, and aligned with expected outcomes

Communicate testing status, risks, defects, and dependencies clearly and proactively to project leadership and stakeholders

Perform impact and risk analysis to identify high-risk areas requiring focused testing coverage

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

Coordinate test data creation and environment readiness in partnership with technical teams, business partners, and implementation partner

Lead and coordinate system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution and formal business sign-off

Log, triage, prioritize, and track defects through resolution, working closely with all project stakeholders

Facilitate the data validation and reconciliation testing to ensure accuracy and completeness

Support all testing for the full project lifecycle through hypercare, addressing defects, validating fixes, and supporting system stabilization

Maintain thorough testing documentation, including test strategies, plans, cases, defect logs, and sign-off artifacts
Minimum Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting new system implementation projects

Experience supporting corporate systems, HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management implementations

5+ years of experience with UKG (Kronos) implementations or upgrades

Proven success working on large-scale, cross-functional transformation projects

Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable testing scenarios

Solid understanding of UKG (Kronos) capabilities, data model, workflows, various state requirements and reporting

Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
