Job Title: Senior Java Developer Networking / Telecom Domain
Location: Mountain View, CA (Day 1 Hybrid)
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong networking and telecom domain experience to support a critical end-client engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java development (with Kotlin preferred) and a solid understanding of network management systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, production support experience, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including deep log analysis.
- Work closely with business and operations teams to understand issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Support applications within network management and telecom environments.
- Ensure application stability, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and system optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java development (Senior level).
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin.
- Network Management / Networking Domain experience is mandatory.
- Experience in Telecom environments or Netcracker platforms is required.
- Strong understanding of production support, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Python experience (considered if Java experience is comparatively less).
- Experience working in hybrid or enterprise environments.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a Day 1 hybrid model.
