Back End Developer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Back End Developer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining robust back-end systems that support modern e-commerce solutions. This opportunity is ideal for developers passionate about creating scalable and efficient applications while collaborating in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain back-end systems using Java and Spring Boot to support scalable microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with e-commerce business requirements.
Create and manage RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and practices.
Ensure the security and scalability of back-end systems, including payment and order management workflows.
Work within an agile team to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
Optimize application performance and implement best practices for cloud-based deployments.
Support continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline development cycles.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end or full-stack development, preferably in e-commerce environments.
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for developing scalable and efficient microservices.
Solid experience with RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services with front-end applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD methodologies.
Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows, including payment processing and order management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of agile development practices and tools.
