Title: Lead Backend Software Engineer Python

We are seeking a Lead Backend Software Engineer (Python) to design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant backend platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for web, mobile, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize system performance, security, reliability, and compliance (AML, KYC, data privacy).
- Build and maintain data pipelines for analytics, fraud detection, and geolocation controls.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor backend engineers.
- Lead architectural decisions and evaluate new backend and platform technologies.
- Handle production incidents, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in backend system design and scalability.
- Expert hands-on experience in Python for backend development.
- Experience with API development, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with data pipelines, analytics, and geolocation-based access controls.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
