Job : Enterprise Project Manager - Advanced
Location: 1801 Main Street, Columbia, SC
Expert project management for medium to complex IT project
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Develop business requirements
Build project plans and execute them
Manage project risks and issues
Ensure deliverables are completed on time and with high quality
Report project status and strategies, orally and in writing
Interact with staff, management, vendors, and other stakeholders
Compile and manage information for project plans, portfolio/program plans, metrics, and documentation
Other related duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access
Risk management experience, including triggers and mitigation
Ability to create and document key project management artifacts
Superb communication skills (written and oral)
Effective listener, able to engage people with diverse interests
Experience in Medicaid or healthcare claims IT projects preferred
Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously
Strong people skills and presentation skills
Strong proficiency in English
Required Skills (ranked by importance):
3 5+ years of project management experience
1 3+ years in healthcare insurance IT project management
Project planning, including effort estimation and resource allocation
Preferred Skills (ranked by importance):
Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems experience
Required Education:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
