Our client is a heritage leader in the frozen seafood industry with a history of over 175 years. Founded in 1849 in Gloucester, Massachusetts, the organization has grown from early fishing roots into a trusted household brand for classic frozen seafood products distributed nationwide through major grocery chains and independent retailers.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $30.00 to $40.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to address technology challenges.
Develop and support core business applications, including application front-ends.
Assist with development operations support.
Work closely with outside vendors and consultants.
Provide dedicated end-user support.
Research new technology trends and opportunities to advance business objectives.
Coordinate system implementations and new application releases.
Develop detailed project plans across all phases of the project life cycle.
Partner with peers and senior management to discuss business challenges and propose solutions.

Experience Requirements:

3+ years of relevant experience in a business systems or applications role.
Solid project management skills across the full project life cycle.
Programming experience with application development.
Advanced SQL proficiency, preferably T-SQL.
Deep knowledge of database concepts, preferably Azure SQL or Progress.
Experience with Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
Working understanding of ERP software, preferably QAD MFG/PRO.
Demonstrated ability to adapt and grow in changing environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.

BS in Information Technology or BS in Business with interest in Management Information Systems.
