Job Overview:
- Our client is one of Northern Indiana’s largest independent, 100% employee-owned electrical distributors, serving OEMs and contractors with premium electrical and automation solutions.
- As we enter the next phase of our growth strategy, we’re seeking a Sales Manager who can lead with insight, collaborate across business units, and help scale our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Oversee inside and outside sales teams, including OEM-focused reps and emerging business units (e.g., robotics, wire spool, servo motors).
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze activity and sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; report findings to leadership.
- Team Development: Support reps with situational guidance, communication strategies, and customer service best practices.
- Cross-Unit Collaboration: Coordinate sales efforts across business units with shared commission structures and aligned goals.
- Process Visibility: Maintain a clear understanding of how different sales processes interact and contribute to overall performance.
- Technology Integration: Leverage advanced tools including NetSuite CRM, AI-enhanced Outlook integrations, and internal order systems to streamline workflows.
Must Have:
- A team-oriented leader who values structure and is excited about growth.
- Someone who can fit into our evolving system before reshaping it.
- Experience in electrical distribution, OEM sales, or technical product lines is a plus.
- Strong reporting and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
