About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, including intrusion detection, CCTV surveillance, access control, and fire alarm systems. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the company, with training provided for the right candidate. There is onboarding and a process for obtaining the position.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure security systems, including cabling and electrical components.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on alarm systems.
- Respond to field service calls to diagnose and resolve installation issues.
- Collaborate with clients to assess security needs and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and repairs.
- Provide client training on proper system usage.
Required Skills- Proven experience in alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and cabling (Cat5).
- Ability to install CCTV systems and bend conduit.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience with commercial/new construction environments.
- Familiarity with access control systems and fire alarms.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
