Job Summary:

RTX Corporation Raytheon is looking an experienced Network Administrator, P2 level, with a US DoD Top-Secret clearance to work as part of a collaborative team to support our classified networks at our El Segundo facility in California (Relocation Eligible).

What You Will Do:

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

o Configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco network hardware and software, such as switches, routers, ASAs, Next Generation IPS (Firepower)

o Ensure Information Assurance compliance for network hardware and software and mitigating identified vulnerabilities. Remediate IAVAM and DISA STIGS

o Ensure compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST, etc.)

o Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate is organized, able to work well with others, able to work under time constrains, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team and have good problem-solving skills. The candidate's work will be performed under general direction. The candidate will frequently interact with inter-organizational contacts representing the Digital Technology organization in the support of Raytheon Air & Space Defense System program area engineering end-user community.



Qualifications You Must Have:

o Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An advanced Degree in a related field.

o An active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
o Experienced in LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware.

Qualifications We Strongly Prefer:

o Must have background with LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardware.

o Experience with Type-1 HAIPE Encryptors, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN, etc.)

o Knowledge of access control lists and IP address management

o Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills

o Security+ and CCNA certifications within 6 months after being hired

o Special Access Program (SAP) clearances

Qualifications we Prefer:

o Experience implementing IDS/IPS, host-based security and integrating firewall appliances, including DMZ design and ACL implementation

o Experience with SolarWinds, Visio, SNMP-based network management

o Experience with TACACS/Radius authentication software-based configuration

o Experience with vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies

o Experience with ACAS, SCAP, NESSUS

o Experience with Palo Alto firewalls

o CCNA highly desired

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
