We are looking for:
Automation Lead (JS Stack)
Focus: Strategy, technical architecture, mentoring, and quality governance.
Role Summary
As an Automation Lead, you will be the architectural owner of our testing ecosystem. You will define the long-term automation roadmap, select the right toolsets (Playwright vs. Web.io), and empower a team of engineers to deliver high-quality releases at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the end-to-end automation strategy, including tool selection, ROI analysis, and test data management.
- Technical Leadership: Architect high-performance, parallelized testing solutions that support multi-tenant web applications.
- Team Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and upskill junior/mid-level engineers in JS-based automation.
- Process Optimization: Implement advanced reporting (Allure, ReportPortal) and AI-driven testing capabilities to reduce manual triage.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate quality metrics and risk assessments to senior leadership and engineering heads.
Technical Requirements
- Leadership: 8+ years in QA Automation with at least 2 years in a Lead or Principal capacity.
- Framework Mastery: Deep expertise in architecting frameworks from scratch using Playwright and WebdriverIO.
- CI/CD Mastery: Proven experience building complex YAML-based pipelines and quality gates.
- Performance & Security: Basic knowledge of integrating Performance (K6/JMeter) and Accessibility (Axe-core) testing into the JS stack.
- Vision: Ability to evaluate and implement emerging trends like Self-healing tests and AI-augmented test generation.
