Job Overview: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering. You will review and analyze multifaceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. You will contribute to resolving complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to meet deliverables. Additionally, you will strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities: - Provide technical systems support within a technology environment.
- Support complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases, and other technical products and services.
- Use diagnostic tools to maintain, troubleshoot, and restore service or data to systems.
- Participate in migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations, and configurations.
- Update and write documentation and procedures, assisting with related training.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues using general guidelines or direction.
- Participate in writing test scripts and maintaining change or issue logs.
- Analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements.
- Understand quality, security, and compliance requirements for supported areas and review changes for risk to production systems.
- Participate in testing and updating the business continuation plan.
Qualifications: - 5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux, Tomcat, and other middleware.
- Strong troubleshooting acumen.
- Preferred knowledge of ServiceNow, Splunk, Grafana, Excel, Power BI, and Python.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr. on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
