Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer:

Job Description:

Degreed Design engineer with a strong background designing electro-mechanical assemblies. Candidate will be working in new product development designing from concept through to manufacturing. Candidate will be responsible for the tight packaging of circuit board assemblies, power electronics, circuits and other electrical components into an aluminum or sheetmetal box that measures 2'feet long, 6" wide and deep. THEY ARE NOT DOING ANY ELECRICAL DESIGN. THEY ARE TAKING THOSE COMPONENETS AND PACKAGING THEM INTO THESE BOXES. Think aircraft black boxes, avionics, etc This candidate will not need to do any analysis, but will be working with analysts and must be able to understand what the analyst needs to complete their analysis. Previous experience in the design of avionics, power supplies, electronic gear boxes. Must have aircraft, aerospace or automotive experience. Candidates must have a 4 year degree in engineering. All design will be done using Unigraphics NX version 19 or higher. TeamCenter experience is a must. 5+ years of Design Engineering experience and 4+ years of Unigraphics experience is a must.
