Role 1 (USA): AI Engineer — Fine‑Tuning LLMs/VLMs (Contract)
Location: USA • Dallas/Charlotte
Location: USA • Dallas/Charlotte
Interview Mode: F2F Interview
Mission: Fine‑tune open‑source LLMs/Vision Language Models (incl. “Thinking models”) on‑prem for high‑stakes use‑cases.
Responsibilities:
- Build reproducible fine‑tuning pipelines (LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT) with secure data handling.
- Implement advanced prompt evolution (GEPA, self‑play, genetic strategies).
- Curate/augment datasets; enforce PII controls and audit trails.
- Design evaluation harnesses; measure safety, bias, robustness, and cost.
- Optimize GPU training/inference, profiling, caching, batching.
- Partner on guardrails, red‑teaming, and deployment readiness.
Qualifications:
- 5+ yrs ML/AI; 2+ yrs LLM/VLM; strong Python & PyTorch.
- Experience with RLHF/DPO, GEPA.
- On‑prem MLOps; compliance and observability.
