- Must know the following technologies: MxMLExchange, RTBS/MDCS, Datamart
- Knowledge and hands on experience in implementing, developing and supporting various MX.3 proprietary modules for Enterprise Integration such as MxML Exchange, Datamart, MX.3 Accessibility and Extensibility APIs (.Net, Java, C++, and SOAP/REST Web services), Real-time bridging service, Market Data Cache Server, MX.3 Connectivity 2.0 framework, MX.3 Packaged interfaces including (but not limited to) MarkitWire, DTCC Global Trade Repository, MarginSphere, IceLink, FXAll, Market Data Import Tool etc., MX.3 End of Day processes and Trade Life Cycle Management using workflows engine. (At least 3 years)
- Build new up / downstream integration(s)
- Convert the existing integration point with the Murex version change
- Development of MxML (Workflows, Exchange)
- XSL / Transformation
- Scripting (bsh, ksh, ...etc.)
- Assist existing support group(s) in resolving integration related request or issues
- Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
- Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
- Liaise with technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve environment-related issues and necessary enhancements in preparation for cloud deployment
- Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
- Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT) 1. Provide professional services to Murex clients:
o Provide services in the domain of system integration, business intelligence and data flows through the full lifecycle of the MX.3: requirements analysis, configuration build, installation, training, upgrade, and production support.
o Professionally interact with Murex colleagues and clients.
2. Build, test, and provide support to clients on MX.3 integration modules.
o Contribute to project implementations
Participate in design, build, and test phases, sometimes remotely and other times at the client site as needed.
Develop trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds, process them, save them into the system, and send an acknowledgement. Use a combination of MXMLExchange, MXopenconnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart to successfully deliver such solutions.
Contribute to the functional documentation of the test cases and use cases by the client.
Contribute to the Design documentation for the Build process of the Product.
Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages, etc. Install, deploy and test Murex packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool), Markitwire, BSMT and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, etc.
o Handle support cases from notification to resolution and validation.
Participate in the business as usual and project support: follow-up of client open cases through email, CRM portal, phone calls and on-site visits
Develop an understanding of ongoing activities and manage own deliverables/progress
Manage bug fixes and enhancements with the Product Team
3. Integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to the client.
o Work with S4C stream leads, Front-Office, Back-Office, or Risk teams to understand requirements and develop solutions for the client.
o Work with the Product division team to provide them with timely details on defects - how to reproduce the issue, project/client constraints, and how to validate the fix.
o Follow up with the S4C stream leads, the Project Manager, and other teams to meet deadlines and regular meetings to make sure the delivery is on time.
4. Work with technologies including SQL, Unix, and Murex proprietary standards like Murex Scripting Language (MSL), XMLF, etc., for client solutions.
o Use SQL for end-of-day report generation, STP (straight through processing) failure issues, P&L evaluation, for analyzing issues in trade feed and status, Etc.
o Java programming skills are not essential, but are a plus.
o Various Murex proprietary languages and formats: Data Query Language for querying in various screens in MX.3, MSL (Murex Scripting Language) for pre-trade logic, XMLF for post-trade flow processing, MxML in various contexts, etc.
o Create shell/Python scripts for automation of day-to-day manual activities. Understand requirements, analyze the problem areas of the current system and behaviour of pre-trade and post-trade workflow, and integration points.
