Bioassay Research Associate

Hiring: Bioassay Research Associate (Onsite) Location: Oceanside, CA
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Work Mode: 100% Onsite (No hybrid option)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (extension reviewed every 6 months)

We are seeking a motivated Bioassay Research Associate to support biological drug development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role focuses on developing and validating bioassays to support Process Development activities and project goals.

• Develop and validate bioassays to support biological drug development

• Plan and execute experiments aligned with process development objectives

• Perform ELISA and cell-based assays using plate readers and SoftMax Pro software

• Conduct data analysis and present results using Excel and PowerPoint

• Recognize and interpret anomalous or inconsistent experimental results

• Participate in group meetings to present findings and discuss study outcomes

• Collaborate closely with senior scientists to troubleshoot and optimize assays

• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare experiment reports

• Operate laboratory equipment and support general lab activities as needed

• Basic understanding of ELISA and cell-based assays

• Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques

• Proficiency with plate readers and SoftMax Pro software

• Strong data analysis and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• BS in a relevant scientific discipline with 2+ years of experience, OR

• MS in a relevant scientific discipline with 1+ year of experience
