Development and support of:
Medicaid Web Portal Application
State s EDI Services Framework
Project managed by Clemson University Medicaid Information Technology Services (MITS)
Systems operated on behalf of South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS)
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
Assess, design, develop, implement, and support web-based systems
Develop frontend and backend web applications
Design platform-independent, mobile-ready user interfaces
Build enterprise-level, scalable, and highly available web systems
Develop Java applications using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Spring)
Participate in full software development lifecycle:
Requirements analysis
Design
Development
Unit and system testing
Deployment and maintenance
Support production systems under the guidance of technical project managers
Collaborate with:
Business users
Analysts
Software engineers
DBAs
QA teams
Infrastructure and support teams
Required Skills (in Order of Importance)
7+ years of experience with Tapestry
7+ years of experience with JavaScript
7+ years of experience with jQuery
7+ years of experience with EDI Transactions
7+ years of experience with JDBC
Strong experience with Java

Required Education
