Title: Lead .NET Developer
Compensation: Up to $130,000 + Bonus
Location: Houston (Remote) in office once every 6 weeks for meetings
Employment Type: Full-Time
No corp to corp or 3rd parties.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Developer to drive architectural decisions, mentor development teams, and deliver robust enterprise applications. This role requires strong leadership capabilities combined with deep technical expertise in .NET technologies, Azure, and multi-tier application design.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using .NET / C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
Architect and optimize MSSQL databases, ensuring efficient queries and performance tuning.
Implement best practices for Dependency Injection (DI) and leverage IoC containers for maintainable, testable code.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Design and deploy Azure-based multi-tier applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
(Preferred) Experience with Telerik UI components for ASP.NET applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in software architecture and team leadership.
Advanced proficiency in .NET / C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and MSSQL optimization.
Strong understanding of Dependency Injection patterns (constructor injection, IoC containers) and why DI is critical for maintainable code.
Hands-on experience with Azure services and multi-tier application deployments.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with Telerik UI controls and customization within ASP.NET applications.
