Client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the Spectrum Business Data Product team. The role focuses on partnering with stakeholders to define data needs, build self-service dashboards, and deliver actionable insights through advanced SQL, Tableau, and Python automation. The analyst will perform ad hoc analysis, ensure data quality, and proactively identify process improvement opportunities while operating independently in an enterprise environment.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years enterprise Data Analyst experience
- 5+ years of SQL with complex query development from scratch
- Strong Tableau data visualization experience
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Day to Day:
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and identify and/or develop self-serve dashboards that meet stakeholder needs
- Research, hypothesize, test and validate, establish the link between and within data from various sources and leverage that understanding to answer business questions
- Write complex SQL queries that utilizes multiple tables and generates the output that can be leveraged in reports
- Develop and maintain automated processes using python that streamline data analysis and reporting
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through data validation and testing
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and identify opportunities to improve existing processes
