Role Overview

Hiring a JMC POS Lead to own L2/L3 support and enhancements for JumpMind Commerce (JMC) POS or Oracle Retail POS (OrPOS) in a retail environment. This is a hands-on role with production support, Java/Spring development, and cloud-aware deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead L2/L3 support for store POS applications and ensure high availability.
Troubleshoot production issues, drive root cause analysis, and deliver fixes.
Develop and enhance POS services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Build and support SOAP/REST APIs, PostgreSQL queries, and messaging (Pub/Sub/RabbitMQ).
Coordinate with infra/cloud teams (Google Cloud Platform/AWS) on deployments and configurations.
Work in Agile squads, collaborating with onshore/offshore and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with JMC POS or Oracle Retail POS (OrPOS).
8+ years IT with 3+ years in POS L2/L3 support.
Solid expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Experience with SOAP/REST, PostgreSQL, Pub/Sub or RabbitMQ, and GIT.
Retail POS domain understanding and strong communication skills.
Prior experience working in Agile environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with XStore POS.
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
