Soldering Associate

Express Employment of Covina, CA is seeking a Soldering Technician for our client located inthe City of Walnut, CA.

Location: Walnut, CA
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Starting Pay: $20.00/hour

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling and soldering electronic components, applying adhesives and varnishes, and working with small tools such as screwdrivers. The ability to read blueprints and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Solder and assemble surface-mounted and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Apply adhesives and protective varnishes according to specifications
• Use hand tools and small instruments to assemble and secure components
• Inspect assemblies for quality and adherence to blueprints and specifications
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Report any defects or issues in materials or processes
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly (less experience may be considered)
• Proficient in soldering and working with surface-mount components
• Comfortable using small hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality
