SAP S/4HANA CRM / IS-U CRB Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA CRM / IS-U CRB Consultant to design, configure, and support Customer Relationship & Billing (CRB) processes for utility clients. The role focuses on customer lifecycle management, billing, invoicing, service requests, and seamless integration between SAP CRM, IS-U, and S/4HANA Finance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP CRM & IS-U CRB Configuration

• Configure and support SAP CRM Utilities (CRB) processes including:

  • Customer onboarding and account management

  • Move-in / Move-out / Transfer (MIMO)

  • Customer service requests and complaints

  • Billing and invoicing processes

• Implement end-to-end CRB business processes aligned with utility operations.

S/4HANA & IS-U Integration

• Ensure smooth integration between:

  • SAP CRM (CIC / IC WebClient)

  • IS-U (Billing, Device Management, FICA)

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI, FICA)

• Support S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementations for Utilities CRB.

Business Process Design

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs.

• Prepare functional specifications for custom enhancements.

• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Middleware, BTP).

Testing & Deployment

• Plan and execute:

  • Unit Testing

  • Integration Testing

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Support data migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide production support and resolve incidents.

• Optimize CRB processes for performance and user experience.

• Ensure compliance with utility regulations and customer service SLAs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CRM Utilities / IS-U CRB

• Solid knowledge of:

  • Customer Interaction Center (CIC)

  • SAP IS-U Billing and FICA integration

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities implementation or migration

• Understanding of Middleware (PI/PO, CPI) and integrations

• Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (preferred)

Functional & Business Skills

• Strong understanding of Utility industry processes

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Experience

• 6–10+ years of SAP experience

• 4+ years in SAP CRM Utilities / IS-U CRB

• At least one SAP S/4HANA Utilities project

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Utilities with SAP S/4HANA

• SAP CRM or Customer Experience certification

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Fiori, BRF+, and SAP BTP

• Exposure to SAP C/4HANA or SAP CX migration

• Knowledge of Agile / SAP Activate methodology
