Position: Java L2 Support
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite role)
Java L2 Support ( Banking application support experience)
Java L2 Support Engineer with strong banking application support experience to support mission-critical production systems. The role involves incident management, root cause analysis, and application stability in a high-availability banking environment.
Provide L2 production support for Java-based banking applications
Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets as per SLA
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate fixes with L3/Dev teams
Monitor application health, batch jobs, and interfaces
Support payment systems, core banking, or digital banking applications
Analyze application logs and database issues
Perform minor code fixes, configuration changes, and deployments
Work closely with infrastructure, database, and middleware teams
Participate in on-call / weekend support rotations
Ensure compliance with banking security and audit standards
Good knowledge of:
Spring / Hibernate (support perspective)
SQL (Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
Unix / Linux commands
Experience with application servers (WebLogic / WebSphere / Tomcat)
Log analysis and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of batch processing and schedulers
Familiarity with REST / SOAP services
